Announcing the Blaze Builder Challenge
Today we’re launching the first Blaze Builder Challenge.
Over the past few months, we’ve been expanding the Blaze developer ecosystem with the launch of our public API and developer platform at https://dev.blaze.stream
We’ve already seen developers building bots, creator tools, agents, analytics dashboards, and community applications using the Blaze API. Now we want to help accelerate that momentum.
$5,000 Prize Pool
We’re awarding a total of $5,000 to selected projects built using the official Blaze API.
Whether you’re building a moderation bot, AI-powered assistant, stream utility, analytics platform, mobile app, community tool, or something entirely new, we want to see it.
How It Works

Project Review
The Blaze team will review all submissions and select the projects that demonstrate the strongest execution, creativity, usefulness, and impact on the Blaze ecosystem.
Prize Pool
A total of $5,000 will be awarded across selected projects.
The Blaze team may choose to distribute the prize pool among multiple winners based on the quality and number of submissions received.
What We’re Looking For
We’re especially interested in projects that:
- Improve the creator experience
- Improve the viewer experience
- Increase engagement on Blaze
- Introduce new use cases for the Blaze API
- Help grow the Blaze ecosystem
- Deliver a polished and useful experience
Requirements
- Projects must use the official Blaze API. (https://dev.blaze.stream)
- Projects must be submitted through the Blaze Builder Challenge form.
- A demo, video demonstration, or repository must be provided.
- Team submissions are allowed.
Why We’re Doing This
We believe the future of Blaze extends far beyond the core platform.
The most successful platforms are built by communities of developers creating tools, integrations, automations, and experiences that the platform team could never build alone.
This challenge is our first step toward supporting that ecosystem and rewarding developers who are helping shape the future of Blaze.
We’re excited to see what you build.
Good luck.
