Blaze Platform Updates — 17 November 2025

Launch week is coming in hot, so we’ve been shipping non-stop and focused on three things: stronger on-chain infrastructure, simpler payments and a more reliable live experience.

This week’s update delivers new ways to pay, better content discovery, and a round of important bug fixes and performance improvements.

New On-Chain Infrastructure

USDC–BLAZE AMM Deployed on Blaze Chain

We have deployed a new USDC–BLAZE Automated Market Maker (AMM) directly on Blaze Chain.

What this unlocks:

  • Deeper on-chain liquidity for BLAZE
  • Smoother swaps between USDC and BLAZE
  • A stronger foundation for instant, onchain creator payouts

This is core plumbing for Blaze, built to support a high-volume, creator-first streaming economy.

Payments and Monetization

USDC for Subscriptions and Donations

Viewers can now pay for subscriptions and donations in USDC.

  • No prior crypto experience required
  • A familiar, dollar-pegged currency for both viewers and creators
  • Fully powered by Blaze Chain under the hood

The goal is simple: let anyone support a creator in a few clicks, while keeping all value on-chain.

Viewing and Discovery

Previous Broadcasts on the Homepage

Recent broadcast videos now appear on the Blaze homepage.

For creators:

  • More visibility for your recent streams
  • New viewers can discover you even when you are offline

For viewers:

  • Easier to find real streams, not just a static landing page
  • A clearer sense of what Blaze looks and feels like in action

Reliability and Bug Fixes

We fixed a number of issues that impacted chat, subscriptions, and browser playback.

Subscription Chat Color

Issue: When someone subscribed, their chat name did not always turn green instantly.

Status: Fixed. Sub status now updates in real time.

Chat Not Receiving Latest Messages

Issue: Some clients stopped receiving the latest messages due to a syncing problem.

Status: Fixed. Chat now continuously receives new messages as expected.

Chat Showing Messages from Another Channel

Issue: In rare cases, chat could display messages from a different channel.

Status: Fixed. Channel isolation has been tightened so messages stay scoped correctly.

New Subscriptions Missing From Streamer Dashboard

Issue: New subscriptions did not always appear in the streamer dashboard activity feed.

Status: Fixed. New subs are now logged and surfaced consistently in dashboard activities.

Safari Streaming Issues

Issue: Some viewers on Safari experienced streaming and playback issues.

Status: Fixed. Live streams now play correctly on Safari.

Performance and Quality Improvements

Hidden Unseen Chat Messages

We now hide unseen chat messages from the DOM after a certain threshold.

Impact:

  • Better performance on long or high-traffic streams
  • Lower memory usage while keeping the experience live and responsive

Improved Bitrate Handling

We have tuned how Blaze manages bitrate for live streams, particularly on unstable connections.

Impact:

  • Smoother playback when network quality fluctuates
  • Fewer visible artifacts and drops for viewers

What Comes Next

These updates are part of preparing Blaze for a wider rollout:

  • Verified streamers will continue to lead the early waves
  • We will keep iterating on stability, scaling, and UX as more creators go live

Blaze is being built to let creators and their communities own the experience, end to end. This is another step in that direction.
