Blaze Platform Updates —February 2026
We've rolled out a set of meaningful updates across Blaze. This release focuses on usability, performance, customization, and better social distribution.
Here’s what’s new.
OG Color Improvements
We’ve refined the OG role colors to improve readability and contrast, especially in dark mode.
OG users now stand out more clearly in chat without overwhelming the interface. The goal was simple: make recognition easier while keeping the visual balance of the chat clean.
Expanded Language Support
Blaze now supports additional languages:
- German (de)
- French (fr)
- Italian (it)
- Spanish (es-ES)
- Portuguese (pt-BR)
- Turkish (tr)
These are in addition to English.
Localization now covers core platform areas, including navigation, key actions, and major user flows. We’ll continue refining translations and expanding support as Blaze grows into new regions.
Making Blaze more accessible globally is a priority, and language support is a critical step in lowering the barrier for Web2 users entering Web3 streaming.
Subscriber Filter
Streamers can now filter users by subscriber status.

This helps with:
- Identifying core supporters
- Moderation
- Community management
- Rewarding loyal viewers
It’s a small tool that makes day-to-day streaming more manageable.
Video Player Redefined
We’ve reworked key parts of the video player to improve clarity and responsiveness.
Updates include:
- Colored seek bar for better visual feedback
- Hover previews on the timeline
- Improved buffer visualization
- Cleaner interaction in live and DVR modes
The player now feels more precise and modern, especially for live viewers navigating streams.
Recent Searches
Search now remembers your recent queries.
This makes it easier to:
- Revisit streamers
- Jump between channels
- Navigate faster without repeating searches
It reduces friction in daily usage.
Latest Stream Link

Each streamer now has a direct link to their latest stream.
This makes sharing easier across social platforms and communities. Instead of linking to a generic channel page, creators can point directly to their most recent content.
X (Twitter) Card Previews & Page Titles
Blaze links now generate proper Open Graph previews on X.
We’ve improved:
- Page titles
- Metadata
- Social preview cards
Shared links now look cleaner and more informative, which should improve click-through and visibility.
Chat Mentions, Title & Description Mentions
We’ve added support for mentions inside chat, and mentions now work in stream titles and descriptions as well.

This improves:
- Direct interaction
- Community engagement
- Cross-channel visibility
It’s a foundational feature for stronger social dynamics inside Blaze.
Followed Channels in the Left Sidebar
Channels you follow now appear directly in the left sidebar.
This makes it easier to:
- See who’s live at a glance
- Jump quickly between streams
- Keep track of your regular creators
The goal is faster navigation and stronger viewer retention. Instead of searching or scrolling, your followed channels are always accessible from anywhere on the platform.
Raid Feature
Streamers can now raid other channels.

At the end of a stream, creators can send their viewers directly to another live channel. This helps:
- Support other streamers
- Keep viewers engaged on the platform
- Strengthen community connections
- Increase discovery organically.
Easier VOD Sharing (Including Start Time)
Sharing VODs is now much more flexible.

You can generate links that:
- Point to a full VOD
- Start at a specific timestamp
This makes it easier to:
- Share key moments
- Highlight important segments
- Send viewers directly to what matters
Instead of asking someone to “skip to 1:42:30,” you can now link directly to that exact moment.
It’s a simple improvement, but it makes VODs significantly more useful for creators, communities, and social sharing.
Sorting Broadcasts and Clips
You can now sort broadcasts and clips by:
- Most Recent
- Most Viewed
This gives viewers more control over how they explore content.

This release strengthens the core of Blaze, player, chat, discovery and customization.
We’re building step by step toward a streaming platform that feels faster, more flexible, and truly creator owned.
There’s more coming.
Thank you for building and growing with us.
