Wallet & Earnings Update: Card Revenue is Live

Wallet & Earnings Update: Card Revenue is Live

We’ve shipped a major update to the Wallet.

Blaze now supports credit card subscriptions, and with that, we’ve redesigned the Wallet into a more structured Wallet & Earnings experience.

Credit Card Subscriptions Are Now Live

Viewers can now subscribe to streamers using credit cards via Stripe

At launch:

  • Credit cards are supported for subscriptions only
  • Gifted subs and tips are not yet available via card payments

This is the first step toward bringing more mainstream users into Blaze.

Wallet → Wallet & Earnings

We’ve restructured the Wallet into three distinct sections:

1. Wallet

Your on-chain and platform balances:

  • USDC
  • $BLAZE
  • Backstage assets

This remains your instant, spendable balance.

2. Card Revenue

A new section dedicated to earnings from credit card subscriptions.

This includes:

  • Pending earnings
  • Available balance
  • Payout history
  • Subscription activity

Card revenue is separated from your wallet because it follows a different lifecycle.

3. External Wallet

Manage your Blaze Chain wallet connection:

  • Link or revoke your external wallet
  • View balances on Blaze Chain
  • Access bridge flows

How Card Revenue Works

Card subscriptions are processed differently from crypto.

Revenue flow:

  • A viewer subscribes via credit card
  • Earnings are tracked under Card Revenue
  • Funds are held for 30 days
  • After the hold period, they become available

This delay exists due to:

  • refunds
  • chargebacks
  • fraud protection

Payouts

Once your funds become available:

  • They are automatically paid out to your Blaze Wallet in USDC
  • Payouts are processed in weekly batches
  • No manual action is required

Why This Matters

This update unlocks:

  • Easier onboarding for non-crypto users
  • Higher conversion for subscriptions
  • A clearer earnings structure for creators

At the same time, Blaze keeps its core advantage:

  • crypto-native payouts
  • global accessibility
  • transparent earnings

Blaze is moving toward a hybrid model:

  • Web2 payments for onboarding
  • Web3 payouts for ownership

This update is a foundational step in that direction.
